Dominica Yoga and Hiking retreat 26th October 2019
In collaboration with Petra Rakebrandt Hike Caribbean are offering a dedicated yoga and hiking retreat in Dominica from October 26th 2019. Petra is a Caribbean resident, yoga teacher, healer, nutritionist and all-round ‘Energy Artist’.
The new Dominica retreat with Petra will be based at Jungle Bay Eco Resort which recently reopened (July 2019) after the original hotel was destroyed due to 2015’s devastating Storm Erika. Under Petra’s guidance, this playful soulful retreat combines, yoga, meditation and mindfulness with fun, adventure and organic food from the island. Perfect for nature loves, Dominica is home to many UNESCO World Heritage Sites as well as the mysterious Valley of Desolation, hot water pools, waterfalls and famous Titou Gorge.
The week-long retreat offers twice daily yoga classes at the resort’s stunning yoga studio with views of the Caribbean Sea, as well as time for active adventures such as snorkelling, hiking in the hills and cooling off in waterfalls as well as poolside relaxation, gym sessions and spa treatments. This week of exercise, alkalizing juices, raw and nutritious food, tropical mountain and sea air and making friends will have guests feeling reconnected both to themselves and nature. Plus, this trip is during the World Creole Festival, when the island will be buzzing with music and celebration.
A 7-night retreat between 26 October- 02 November 2019 costs from £1,999 per person including all international flights, airport transfers, all meals and drinks (non-alcoholic) as well as twice daily yoga classes, 3x excursions, 1x spa treatment and other on-site activities like cooking and drumming classes. Prices are based on two people sharing a room, prices for single travellers available on request.
